Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
Northwoods Web Services respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website may collect, why it is collected, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
When you submit the contact form or contact Northwoods Web Services directly, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, business name, website address, project interests, estimated budget, and message. Please do not submit passwords, financial account information, Social Security numbers, medical information, or other highly sensitive information through the public contact form.
How contact information is used
- To review and respond to your request
- To prepare recommendations, estimates, proposals, or service information you request
- To prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and security threats
- To maintain reasonable business records and comply with legal obligations
Saved website requests
Contact form requests may be sent by email and stored in the secured WordPress administration area so they are not lost if email delivery fails. Saved requests are limited to website administrators and are automatically removed from the saved-lead list after approximately 180 days. Copies may remain in email, backups, invoices, proposals, or business records when reasonably necessary.
Automatic technical information
The website and hosting provider may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, security events, and server logs. This information may be used to operate the website, diagnose problems, measure performance, and prevent abuse.
Cookies, analytics, and third-party services
This website may use essential WordPress cookies, security tools, spam protection, analytics, embedded content, or third-party services. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies. If Google Analytics, Cloudflare Turnstile, embedded videos, maps, payment tools, scheduling tools, or advertising services are added, this policy should be reviewed and updated to accurately describe those services and any consent requirements.
Sharing of information
Northwoods Web Services does not sell contact form information. Information may be shared with hosting, email, security, analytics, payment, legal, accounting, or other service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the business, respond to a request, complete authorized work, protect rights or security, or comply with law.
Data security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website, email system, storage service, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not use the public form to transmit confidential credentials or highly sensitive information.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask what contact form information is currently saved, request a copy, correct inaccurate information, or request deletion when retention is not required for legitimate business or legal reasons. WordPress privacy tools may be used to export or erase matching saved-lead records.
Children’s privacy
This website and its services are intended for businesses and adults. Northwoods Web Services does not knowingly request personal information from children through this website.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when website tools, business practices, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of the page will be revised when material changes are published.
